The rum is produced in the small town of Remedios, in the heart of Cuba. The small colonial town is the third oldest town in Cuba. The Destilería Heriberto Duquesne was founded in 1956. Since 2017, the rum has also been sold beyond the country's borders again. Due to the harmony with nature and the climatic conditions, the sugar cane matures in a first-class way. No additional sugar couleur is added to the rum. The distillery attaches great importance to purity and quality during production. The maturation takes place for 18 years in American white oak barrels.Tasting notes:Colour: Gold. Nose: Dried fruits, citrus notes, coconut, vanilla, fresh berries.
