The son, David Gölles, then founded the Ruotker's company in Riegersburg, in Styria. Today, Ruotker's offers high-quality whiskies, rums and gin. The Ron Johan Rum brand is not only dedicated to the Archduke Johann (Johan), but also to the Caribbean (Ron). The special thing about "Ron Johan Rum Dark" is that it is distilled in Styria. The distiller gets the molasses from Brazil, Paraguay or the Dominican Republic. On the bottle you can see the pirate Black Beard and the Austrian Archduke Johann. The Ron Johan Dark Rum matures in new as well as used American white oak and ex-bourbon barrels and is free of any color and aroma substances. Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Elegant, discreet.
