The River Rock Whisky comes from the Lowlands in Scotland. The producers of the whisky now want to present single malt differently and free it from the partly sharp flavors. Three friends and former executives of Edrington, Mark Geary, Laura Anderson and Bill Farrar, have designed the River Rock Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It is a raw spirit from the top of the copper still. The special taste can be traced back to bourbon casks. The glass bottles of the whisky are sculpted by hand and are said to resemble the movement of a river due to the pronounced grooves. Each bottle has a slightly different color. The glass for the production comes exclusively from false and overproduction. Plastic is completely avoided in the packaging. In addition, this is 100% recyclable. River Rock is a member of "1% of the planet" and plants a tree on Schiehallion near Pitlochry in Scotland for every bottle sold in cooperation with The John Muir Trust.
