The Ballykeefe Distillery has been a family business for years and is run by the Ging family. 25 years of research were then necessary to build a distillery that does justice to the Irish whiskey and with all the processes, supports both the environment and sustainability. The whiskey is triple distilled from barley that is sown, grown and harvested directly on their own farm. Therefore, it is also called the "Field To Glass Single Estate" whiskey distillery. The production takes place in Italian copper stills with its own Ballykeefe water. Tasting notes:Color: Amber. Nose: Intense, smooth, notes of caramel, toffee, vanilla, malt, coconut. Taste: Rich, strong, notes of licorice, cloves, dried fruit, cardamom. Finish: Long lasting.
