The Aberlour CASG ANNAMH takes its name from the Gaelic, CASG means 'rare barrels'. The maturing is mainly in ex-Oloroso barrels made from European oak, no age indication is given. The whisky was not cold-filtered and bottled without any additional colouring.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: fruity, slightly spicy, complex, raisins, oranges, cherries, hints of ginger. Taste: Sweet, intense, fruit, liquorice, ripe peaches, notes of cloves, ginger. Finish: Long lasting, fruity, hints of dry spices.
